A little about me

For me, photography is about more than just taking pictures - it's about telling a story with the understanding that every person has a remarkable quality within them that deserves to be celebrated. My job as a photographer is to find that magic within you and capture it's essence.

When I'm not shooting, I'm reading a book (or 4), writing poetry, or playing video games with my partner Alex (we are currently playing We Were Here Too).

A little more about my photography

Picture this: You're 80 years old. Your grandkids are surrounding you, looking at these photos in an album and reminiscing with you about your special day. You’re telling them stories about the day, laughing as you hit them with the classic “back in my day”. When this moment comes, you're probably not going to remember me, but you are going to remember these photos. Those memories will be forever. And that, is magic.

That magic is why I became a wedding photographer.

My clients often start as strangers, and almost always leave as friends. I have had the honour of following many of my clients long past the wedding day. From new homes, new additions to the family, to yearly family photoshoots.

My photography approach is centered on the belief that every person has a special quality within them that deserves to be celebrated and showcased. My job as a photographer is to find that magic within each of my subjects and capture its essence in a way that is timeless, and true.

You are magic. I don't need to create it, it's already there. My job is just to find your magic.
