I would hate for you to cancel, but I understand that life happens! Your retainer fee reserves your date in my calendar, after which I turn down all other work. For this reason, your retainer is non-refundable. In all of my years of shooting, I have never once missed an event. I have many systems in place that would ensure that if something terrible were to happen to me, a photographer of equal skill-level would be contacted immediately to take my place. I have a large network of photographers all over the province. If something were to happen to me with notice, I would give you the option of booking a photographer in my network or a full refund.

I don’t actually believe there is anyone on this planet who photographs poorly. Half the battle of being comfortable in front of a camera is being comfortable with your photographer. I am goofy and talkative and love to make people laugh! And I am always happy to grab a coffee or have a video chat prior to your photoshoot so we can get to know each other better!

All of my cameras, flashes and lenses have back-ups in the rare event that anything should happen to my equipment. The shoot day will go on, and you’ll never know that anything happened (until I tell you the funny story over drinks after you get your photos), because your day will still be beautifully documented.

Not at all! You may order prints through wherever you would like. Please keep in mind. the difference in quality is huge between professional labs and consumer labs, so I encourage clients to let me help with prints!

As a wedding photographer, I want to capture pictures that embody the true essence of your big day. I want them to evoke emotions and be as real, authentic, and as unforgettable as your wedding. This is why I put so much of my energy, hard work, and care into creating an enjoyable experience for my lovely couples.

Starting from discussing your requirements and plans for the main day, including post-processing and special retouching – I make sure to provide you with my undivided attention.

The general rule of thumb is to expect a turnaround time of about 6 to 8 weeks. This may vary depending on the size and season of your wedding festivities. On average, around 50 pictures are taken per hour on the wedding day. This may vary depending on whether I am accompanying you alone or with a second shooter.

After taking the pictures, I make a qualitative selection of your images, finalizing them for special touch-ups. Blinking and shaky shots are excluded. The final touchup includes adjustments of lighting and contrast, and alignment of your pictures with special attention to natural retouching.
